This Farm Wedding in Frederick MD is near and dear to me.
I finally got to meet Katy and Parker just a few days before their wedding. We sat in a cafe for an hour or so talking about anything that popped into our heads; how they met each other in high school, wedding planning, local breweries. Katy was beaming as she spoke of her small 35 person wedding ceremony she had planned. A day or so later, we did their morning engagement photos on a farm near her grandmother’s land in Frederick, MD where the wedding would be. When the wedding day came at the end of the week, I was in awe of all of her plans coming together; her entire family chipped in getting ready for the day, putting ideas together, pitching in on projects. It was intimate and sweet farm wedding, with campfires and treats, and everything was beautiful and calm.
It has to be said that she recently started a blog called All Sorts of Pretty that I can’t get enough of! She talks about everything from fashion to food to design. She also wrote about her wedding and engagement photos and I loved getting to hear all about the experience through her eyes.
Also, their wedding was recently featured on Ruffled and it has a ton of amazing details if you’d like to drop by and see even more photos from Katy and Parker’s wedding day!
