You You and Peter: Vintage Inspired Wedding at Barr Mansion

You You and Peter’s minimalist, modern engagement session was an amazing juxtaposition to their vintage inspired wedding. I knew I loved their style, but when I learned You You’s dress was actually designed by one of her bridesmaids, I was blown away. Seriously – her dress is amazing. On top of being stylish, they’re really just genuinely really sweet people and Josh and I felt like part of the family the entire day. Their ceremony was at Central Christian Church in downtown Austin and their dance party reception was at Barr Mansion, the perfect setting for cake, dinner, and dancing.

On a personal note, things are starting to cool down in Austin. Actually cool down. Not just 70-degrees-outside-where’s-my-jacket cool down, but more like I’m-going-to-start-shopping-for-coats-already cooling down. October and November are the busiest months for weddings here in Austin so I’ve been inside editing nonstop with my hot chocolate, but I’m not complaining. We have 6 amazing weddings to shoot before the end of the year before we move to Washington DC and I have a ton of weddings to share, so let’s hope the cold weather keeps me indoors and on my computer so I can share them all soon. :)
