Camp Puh’Tok Wedding Pictures
Once, there was a sun-spotted field and in this field, they set up a tent and chairs. This is where Katie and Emmanuel were married, after a morning of swimming int he sunlight. Guests all joined them in the grassy field to watch them marry and as the ceremony progressed, the shadows climb the trees behind Katie and Emmanuel until the sunlight wasn’t visible anymore. Sometime later, when the sky darkened, the lights inside the tent kept the traditional Greek dancer illuminated, while guests weaved through tables to the desserts lit by table lamps. This is how their wedding at Camp Puh’Tok went.
Cliff Engagement Pictures Maryland
You don’t expect to laugh as much as you sometimes have the chance to when you’re first hanging out with new people. But through getting to know them in between my huffing and puffing (there’s a natural staircase that leads you up to mountain peaks and I’m admittedly way less fit than I think I am) I learned that Katie and Christopher are a freaking joy to be around. We did a bit of hiking on an overcast day and at the very last minute of the session, the sun came out, but only for a moment. A cliff side hike in Frederick MD with the teeniest bit of sunset made for a lovely end to the session.
For 90s cartoons, red sweaters, sunset light that come out of nowhere for only a second, and love in the mountains.
Great Falls Park Engagement Session
My clients really do find the *best* locations. This is actually a spot Gina and Huy found outside of Great Falls. Every time I’ve been to Great Falls Park, it was to see the giant falls, but the forest surrounding the entire area is riddled with coves and cliffs and hiking trails. The spots they found were a quick hike from a parking lot and there were all these amazing little overlooks along the way, but it was hidden so well. We went into the forest on a chilly morning, listened to the running water, and took some photos until the sun came out. This is what morning sessions are like. I love them amen.
