I’m accepting that editing photos almost always keeps me up past 2 a.m. in summer months — no, not just accepting it, I’m embracing it. And why not? When you’re living in Austin all the best food available is served up 24/7 anyway! And because Josh is a tattoo artist and a painter, our sleep and work schedules are just about in sync so I always have a partner for my late night meals. Due to our routine visits at all of our favorite late night diners, I have enough photos to fill a room with images of us eating our favorite dishes at Kerbey Lane Cafe, iHop, Waffle House, Denny’s, Magnolia Café, Katz, the list goes on and we love them all!
As unflattering as photos of us eating at 4 a.m. often turn out, I can’t help but bring my camera along. I really couldn’t believe the amount of images I’ve collected of just us eating pancakes and drinking coffee late at night from just these past few months, so I had to share the phenomenon with you. =)
Also — if you’re ever in Austin, do yourself a huge favor and go to Kerbey Lane for some Cowboy Queso — SO amazing!
