Bobbie’s Dairy Dip in Nashville, TN

Today is Labor Day and I’m spending it enjoying the summer cold that’s going around, lying in bed on my laptop, going through vacation photos from August and I wanted to share a few from this really fun burger dive called Bobby’s Dairy Dip in Nashville, TN.

So my boyfriend, Josh, has the amazing ability to talk me into eating at greasy burger joints that I definitely shouldn’t be eating at and apparently, my friend Martin shares that ability. Without fail, even if i only get a veggie burger, I still end up sick. They’re just too good to resist. Some people never learn. =)

If you’re ever in Nashville, Bobby’s Dairy Dip is amazing. It’s cute and they have delicious food. Those are really the only two requirements I have for recommending a restaurant.

Austin engagement session | Abandoned airports and fields of grass | Nick & Amy

Clients that give me 100% creative freedom just make my heart smile. The setting for this engagement session was an abandoned airport surrounded by big, blue Texas skies. I love open spaces with huge skies. There’s something really comforting about the visual proof that the world goes on forever. There’s such beauty in the decaying ruins of urban settings; just two people, an abandoned airport, an overgrown field, and beautiful sunlight. Nothing around for miles. Nick and Amy are getting married tomorrow and I can’t wait to be hanging out with them in just a few short hours!

My love for golden sunlight and grassy fields is unending. It makes perfect sense that the setting for weddings should be outdoors. Gorgeous colors, close family and friends, and the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Congratulations, Jamie and Brett! Stephanie rules. She does. She’s gorgeous, she has an amazing personality, the best sense of humor, and my favorite trait of hers — she’s a southern belle. We did her engagement session in a honky tonk bar and her bridal session on a farm with a beautiful old truck and I’ve been wanting to post these for a while and I finally get to because she’s married! Congratulations, Stephanie and Vance!

Elaine and Chris are just two best friends. You know. Chilling, hanging out, getting married! These guys are incredibly fun and completely in tune with each other. They even make up their own hand game with a scoring system, which… words cannot express the amount of cute that is. I’m excited to be shooting their wedding later this year and I can’t wait to get to hang out with them again!

There’s nothing I love more than green grass and perfect weather and this session had both. Jennifer and Joe are wonderful people for letting me talk them into driving out to Gruene, Texas for an engagement session, and Jennifer is even more amazing for rocking that cute Anthropologie dress with no shoes!
